Thing to know about me

I LOVE Sweets, I know most people do, but I really LOVE them.  I could eat them all the time and start my day with them... and often do.

I believe all women should breastfeed or at least try HARD at it. Just my opinion

I love Doritos but will not eat them because of the MSG, but when I so eat them I go CRAZY!

I HATE high fructose corn syrup.  It's even in rice krispies.

My newest addiction is chocolate milk.  Nesquik chocolate, not double chocolate, not strawberry.

I should drink more water. I like smartwater the best.

I can leaves dirty dishes in the sink for a day.

Laundry and I have a hate, hate relationship, and I'm always defeated!

My dining room table more often is covered with 'stuff' than not.  (where else would I craft, put mail, sew, and pile crap)

I hate watching 'small' TV's and they have to be in 'high def'.  I know, bad.  I do love me some TV, but I don't have cable, just 'Bunny Ears' but high def non the less.  Directv to return this winter I am sure.

I hate people to see my toes without polish.

I really dislike cashiers not greeting you.

I once laughed so hard when someone farted in a pubic restroom they left.  (I am laughing so hard right now just typing this I am CRYING, real tears! lol)  I wasn't even able to pee and had to leave too.  Yes I was and adult and I had to pee really bad.

My home birth was the most empowering event of my life so far. It was not easy or glamorous but I did it and I am proud of myself.  (Thanks always Alison, Much Love)
Almost 2, my Handsome Beau
I join swaps just to get mail, I enjoy getting mail so much! Well fun mail.  (a swap blog to come)

I enjoy comments on my blog.  I do, just so you know.  I am thankful for ALL of my Followers.  Thank You!

There is a lot more to know about me, but to be my BFF I guess this is a start.  Most of these things make me giggle.  I love to giggle, laugh, smile, make someone smile...

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I am going to try to link up to a fun blog I follow.  Check her out.

and the Holidays continue...

I have had a grand plan... I would be together by now... not happening. Made cookies, ate them, gave minimal away (best gingerbread cookies ever!). Last night I made candied almonds, marshmallows, and ale caramels.  First batch of caramels, I got distracted and made a weird hard version of itself (trashed), I hate throwing away stuff I make even if it is not good.

1.  Gingerbread cookie dough
2.  Sugar cookie dough
3.  Frosting/icing

10. Prepare for Holiday travels

note: I crossed off Christmas cards and no one is going to get one.... that's right I did not send them. I suck!

The last two post by Little Miss Momma made me laugh, I am going to link a list once I get a chance to make one hopefully by later today!

I am lucky to have my shopping together, my house is a disaster as usual.  I am going to catch up before I leave.  I swear!

Yes there is a rock in his hand.
I am holding off on most Christmas shopping so that I can buy at the craft fair, I know last minute anyone?  But I figure I will finish my shopping at the local 'downtown' stores after the fair.  Now what to get my Honey??? He is easy to shop for and that can even be harder too many choices. I have Beau covered.

Santa is coming to Penny Lane and P.P. Pants TODAY 12-2:30  bring your own camera, fun times!  Beau's first Santa experience.

Cheers,

I am so behind

I am working on...

- A swap journal
- Swaps (several)
- An ornament swap
- Christmas cards
- Shopping
- Headpieces for Best Friends Wedding

is that all, I know there is more or maybe there is just more I am thinking of.

My new favorite Christmas song...
Fionna Apple 'Frosty the Snowman'  and of course Elf is on repeat from now until?  My phones ring tone is 'Santa Baby'.  Small tree this year and fake.  But I am going out of town on Christmas day and did not want to miss out on a 'tree'  it is perfect and beautiful.  No decoration, not sure Beau will allow for them this year.  But we have lights!

It's been cold.  Beau is wonderful.

My car will be back, I guess that's my Christmas present, seems I keep getting 'practical' gifts.  But I sure do miss it especially with the Winter on approach.

Funny Story (well to me):  I pulled up to the grocery store when we got back from San Diego, it was really cold and most of the county was out of power.   We luckily got power back after 24 hours, other parts of the county not so lucky... but anywhoo... The grocery store parking lot was filled with the largest Power repair trucks I have ever seen, lifted trucks and SUVs.  I pulled up in my lowered Mazda, I was the ONLY car in the parking lot.  My windshield was level with the grill of a Ford truck parked in the lot.  If I had been thinking I would have taken a picture.  I laughed out loud at the sight of my tiny car amongst all of the lifted trucks and SUV's.  Time for the Subaru to come home so I can feel at home again on the road.

I really have not even thought about Christmas shopping. I am going to the Renegade Craft Fair in San Francisco so I am hoping I can get it done there... but I am cutting it close to Christmas.  I have a list started.  Daddy and Beau have birthdays right after Christmas too.

I'm also patiently waiting for my Postcard to come in the mail from the handmade swap. I want it to come!

Happy Holidays!
