Chicken update: 3/17/11
Ok, she (the chicken) came out from under the porch (see previous post). We were delighted, she ate and was not well received by the other hens. Then she went back under the porch. We had removed the eggs (16) and thought we blocked it well enough. Apparently not. Today the feed store was getting new day old chicks. I had not stopped this morning for them since she was out. But after yoga this afternoon, feed store it is. I will keep you posted on 'the situation' I hope we triumph with chicks. I am staying optimistic.

What bullies! I am so curious as to how this story will unfold. How is the chicken getting under there?
